Beehive Bazaar- Mother's Day gift?

I stopped by The Beehive Bazaar this afternoon and picked up some treasures. A little something for my mother-in-law, here. For my mom here and here. Mango salsa from her. (She's right. It's 'to-die-for'.) And two bookmarks ('I AM A CHILD OF GOD' with the boy silhouette) for the boysies, from this shop.

I think I'll be making another visit (this time more selfishly) tomorrow with my sister. I've got my eye on this store, these beautiful pillows, and these necklaces. SO many cute things to choose from! Don't miss it!

Lessons of a mother.

Photobucket
I love the outlook that Tina, of Blissfully Domestic, has on motherhood. So positive and so true. Now that I've become a mother, I've become a lot more appreciative and thankful for my own mother and all that she's done for me. I believe parenthood to be one of the hardest and most fulfilling jobs there is in life. And I find all of Tina's observations to be true for myself. . . .except the whole gray hair thing. What gray hair?

Just Something I Made for Mother's Day

I've been a fan of Cathe's, of Just Something I Made, since her days on Design Mom. I'm loving her Mother's Day idea. I think sentimental and homemade gifts are the best kind of gifts, and this one combines the two. The best part is that she did all the work! All we have to do is print and write reasons we love Mom. Easy cheesy! Go read it and get your Mother's Day duties done early!
